Is Big Foot real?

This was the topic of discussion one day last week when I returned to class after lunch.  So we spent the afternoon exploring some questions we had...

Is big foot a person dressed up? We think...yes because on the video big foot looks real. How big is big foot? We think...he is about 3m tall. We think...he is as big as a tree. How big are big foots footprints? We think...they are about 3.8m long because one of Deno's friends told him so. Is big foot big? We think...he is big because we have seen pictures on you-tube. Is big foot real or made up? We think...he is real because we have seen him on a video. Is it true that there are two big foots - a bad one and a good one? We think...yes because Ethan's mum said there was a good one and a bad one. Does Mrs Hughes think big foot is real? No she doesn't. Anyone can dress up as a hairy looking ape. Anybody can make footprints as big as big foots. Nobody has ever caught one and we are pretty clever at catching things. Working together to complete a task. Everybody participating. Utilising each other's strengths.  Showing empathy and accepting everyone's ideas.  Being curious.  Being open-minded.   Demonstrating persistence.
