Te Ika a Maui

To launch our topic OUR PLACE, we have been learning the legend of Te Ika a Maui. We read the story, used drama to act the story out and then watched this retelling. We think it is a pretty cool story.

Room 3 Goals

Butterflies

There was great excitement in Room 3 last week when our butterfiles hatched out of their chrysalis.  We were really lucky to watch the whole process and we managed to catch it on video.  We will be learning more about life cycles in an upcoming discovery session.  We will have lots of prior knowledge now that we have seen the process from start to finish.
